ETA Quartz, Mechanical, and Chronograph bench courses given through AWCI (2002 & 2005). Serving Seiko IQ movements (1996). Rolex Level IV training at New York and Lititz (1997 – present)

Jerry Martiin

Experience

I have spent the past 2 years working with the watch repair team at Palmer’s Jewelry to provide you with outstanding watch repairs services. I am responsible for quartz watch repair, servicing of vintage American pocket watches, mechanical bracelet watches and assist with the Swiss Army service center work. Prior to arriving at Palmer’s, I worked in a busy watch sales and service store in the Denver, Colorado area.

Gem City College, Quincy, IL (2001-2002). While at Gem City College, I studied watch and clock repair.

Laurence Blanchard

Experience

54 Years. Employed at Palmer's July 2008 to present.

Elgin Watch College at Elgin, IL.

Nine years with Bulova Watch Co., responsibilities included, bench technician, and later senior technician/shop foreman, followed by service center manager. 2000 – 2005, employed in Horology Dept. at Gem City College, Quincy IL as Watchmaking and Clockmakng Instructor.

Accreditation

In addition to examination and being a licensed watchmaker in the state of Indiana, include; Certified Master Watchmaker, Horological Institute of America, Certified Master Watchmaker 21, AWCI, Certified Accutron Technician, Certified Bulova Quartz Technician. Charter member of American Watchmakers & Clockmakers Institute. President’s Award for Service from the Central Illinois Watchmaker’s Association, Meritorious Service Award from the Watchmaker’s Association of Indiana.

Central Illinois Watchmaker’s Association, Horological Association of Indianapolis: Wisconsin, Ohio, and Minnesota Watchmaker’s Associations.
